Keynote:  Naomi Pesky, Vice President, Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement for the Metropolitan Airports Commission

                Brian Petersen, Stakeholder Manager for the Transportation Security Administration

Naomi Pesky, Vice President, Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement, and Brian Petersen, Stakeholder Manager for the Transportation Security Administration, will provide updates on the latest happenings at the MSP Airport.  MAC’s Terminal 1 conference center will host once again, as Brian and Dave review many exciting changes and improvements planned at MSP.  Learn about the new concessions operations opening, the significant changes planned for the arrivals and departures level of Terminal 1, and security checkpoint improvements all aimed at enhancing the passenger experience at MSP.

About Naomi Pesky and Brian Petersen

Naomi Pesky, Vice President, Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement

Naomi Pesky is vice president, strategy and stakeholder engagement at the Metropolitan Airports Commission. In this role, she oversees an in-house team of professionals who serve as stewards of strategy, develop strategic communications and create stakeholder champions to ensure the organization delivers on its mission, vision and strategic plan. Specific functions that are in her department include corporate communications, creative services, stakeholder engagement, marketing, air service development, strategic planning and sustainability.

Naomi has held leadership roles in corporate and nonprofit organizations. Before joining the MAC, she was vice president of external relations at Hennepin Theatre Trust, a performing arts organization in Minneapolis.  Prior to that, Naomi held leadership roles at The Saint Paul and Minnesota Foundations and General Mills. She has distinguished herself in brand management, new product launches, community engagement, fundraising and revenue growth.

Naomi is an active leader in the community and serves on the board of Temple Israel in Minneapolis. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in business administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. She also was a 2012-2013 policy fellow at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband and two children.

Brian Petersen, Stakeholder Manager

Brian Ro Petersen is the Stakeholder Manager for the Transportation Security Administration - Minnesota. He was selected for this position in February 2014. In this role, Mr. Petersen is a principal advisor to the Federal Security Director. He is a principle planner, coordinator, and communicator of TSA Minnesota operations and support.

Mr. Petersen joined TSA in 2009 as the Financial Manager for the state of Minnesota. In 2012 became a Program Manager for TSA Region 3 Midwest operations and support. Prior to TSA, Mr. Petersen was a project manager for Unisys Corporation In addition, Mr. Petersen is a retired Lt Col from the US Air Force where he was a Commander of Logistics Readiness.

Brian R. Petersen earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and a Master of Aeronautical Science in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Brian is married to Katherine (Katy) and they have two boys.


The MSP Airport Conference Center is conveniently located at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport's Terminal 1-Lindbergh on the Mezzanine level, above the entrance to Concourse F.

  • Park in Short Term Parking
  • Proceed to Level T (Tram level, one level below baggage) to Information Desk
  • Pick up security pass at Information Desk (need valid government issued photo identification to receive pass)
  • Proceed to Level 2 (Ticketing Level) and enter the South Security Check Point. Turn into the Airport Mall
  • Airport Conference Center is located Mezzanine level, above the entrance to Concourse F.

Use stairs or elevator on the right side to continue to Airport Conference Center
